Hi Bloggers today I did a thing called House Of Bricks
My favourite Lego activity was pass the brick’s because I'm not good at building Lego cars and Daniel was in the car section and he makes cars every day, and we had a lot more people who were good at making cars. It was fun to make people’s creation how I wanted it, not how they wanted it.
My least favourite Lego activity was the mosaic’s because it was just making art on lego, which I didn't like because I'm a terrible artist and I don’t normally use 1 by 1 blocks.
Hi bloggers Lucas here
Today I made a static image to stop sterotyping, everyone can do everything if they try.
Here is my work
Hi Blogger's
For this week we wrote a chunk about a animation called Umbrella, it is about empathy, empathy is about caring for other people.
Early one dreadful morning, the oak door to Miss Elem’s Home For Children opened wide. The girl with the bright yellow umbrella, slowly entered the orphanage before finding a home for her umbrella. Making sure he was invisible Boris speeded away , Boris quickly swapped his head around the door frame so that he was hidden from view. Standing off to the side the girl observed the cheerful scene. As the children scattered around in the box for tresaurses. The girl smirked as she watched the young boy racing around like a rocket. The smile immediately faded as she looked back to the umbrella stand and all she saw was puddles. Her bright umbrella was gone.
Today I made a graph about our hub's birthday month. It helped me figure out, what was the most popular month in Tumu Hub. I started out by making a copy of the information I needed to create both of the graph's, then I took a screenshot of both of the graph's, then I created two Google Drawings, then I made some statements about when people were born.
Have you ever made a graph before?
Hi bloggers
A few weeks ago I went into town with my hub and some people to help us out. In this post I am going to tell you everything we did in that day
Have you ever been to Christchurch city?
Here is the story.
On Thursday 20th of May 2021 my hub went to Magret Mahy playground and Victoria square I was super excited when we got there we were asked to line up in a single file line in our classes I was fine with that like most people my first thing I needed to do was look at the secrets and do a scavenger hunt I was fine with my score like most people. Next up we looked at the mats I found out a lot of information about the otautahi mats. Next we went on the waka we did our practise and we were on I learned a lot of commands, it was very tiring for me. Lastly we went to victoria square we learnt about victoria square there were three mats and two statues our task for victoria square was to draw our own custom pou.
My favourite part of the trip was when we got to feed the Tuna (Eeles) because I almost fed two ginormous Tuna. I felt so sad that I had to get more Tuna food. I had my last shot at it. I failed for the second time, one minute passed and I almost fell in. No one had realised it but in my brain I was laughing.
Something I learnt was that there were 13 mats and they were all over the town. It was very interesting to learn the different patterns on the mats. I couldn't stop smiling because of how interesting it was.
The thing I found the most interesting was when I got to do a treasure hunt I found four out of five secrets. I loved my score. Most people had the same score as me and my team. I found all the secrets of Magret Mahy playground from the ark to a song.
This trip has helped me with my PBL because in my pbl we are learning about moari and Christchurch is full of moari stuff from poi’s to arks. In the end it gave me the idea to draw a waka on the basketball court.

Hi bloggers I found a recipe to create Anzac biscuits. This is how you do it:
Makes approx 20 large biscuits
1 cup plain flour (no need to sift)
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 desiccated coconut
3/4 cup sugar
140g butter
3 tsp golden syrup
3 tablespoons hot water
1 tsp bicarb soda
Heat oven to 170* C.
Mix flour, oats, coconut and sugar in a large bowl.
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add water and golden syrup and mix well.
Add baking soda, allow to foam then pour into the dry ingredients.
Mix well then take small pieces of the mixture, roll into a ball and press out lightly on a greased or lined oven tray.
Allow room between each for spreading.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
Allow the ANZAC biscuits to cool slightly on the trays before moving to a cooling rack.
